AcFun is one of the earliest Chinese danmaku video communities, predating Bilibili and sharing much of the same early internet culture.

It remains a smaller platform with a long-standing core community, and is of most interest for its archive and for creators who have stayed with it rather than for current scale.

Content centres on animation, gaming and user-created comedy, with the same scrolling-comment viewing format.
